At any given time, almost six million Americans suffer from problem wounds. There are many different types of wounds. Some are associated with complications from diabetes and others related to vascular disorders. Other types include pressure sores and traumatic wounds. These hard-to-heal wounds need advanced care. If you have been diagnosed with a condition requiring surgery, Hillcrest Hospital South offers advanced technology and skilled surgeons to meet your specific needs. Robotic Surgery

You've just been diagnosed with a condition requiring surgery. Until very recently your options included traditional surgery with a large open incision or laparoscopy, which uses small incisions but is typically limited to very simple procedures.

Thanks to new surgical technology, there is a category of minimally invasive surgery for which you may be a candidate. With the of the da Vinci® Surgical System, surgeons are now able to offer an effective, minimally invasive option for complex surgical procedures.

Intensive Care Unit

Hillcrest Hospital South is proud to share that it has earned Quality Respiratory Care Recognition (QRCR) from the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC). The QRCR designation ensures quality respiratory care in a hospital and helps patients and families make informed decisions about the quality of the respiratory care services available at the facility of their choice.

You can trust that when you enter the doors of our ER, your wait time will be as short as possible and that you will receive excellent, thorough care. 

 

Diagnostic Imaging

Please locate your specific procedure as listed below and follow the preparation instructions fully. You will need to limit your food and liquid intake according to the instructions for your procedure. You may take any necessary medications. If you have any allergies or medical conditions that may relate to your test, please report them to your radiology technologist. If your procedure includes contrast administration, and if serum creatinine has been performed within 14 days, results of that should be sent or brought to our department.
