Hillcrest South community outreach programs
Ready to learn lifesaving skills?
Our community council offers a variety of outreach programs. We teach, host or sponsor educational events where you need them or we welcome you to Hillcrest South.
Looking to host an event? Here are just a few classes and events we can host, teach or sponsor.
• "Know your numbers" - Prevent stroke and heart disease by knowing your numbers. Our providers will measure blood pressure and provide information on preventing stroke and heart disease.
• "Stop the Bleed" - When major trauma happens, do you know what to do? Learn how to hold pressure, pack a wound and apply a tourniquet to someone who needs it most. When seconds count, and you are waiting for help, will you know what to do?
• "Hands-only CPR and AED training" - Learn how to save life. In this training, our team will teach your group how to do bystander hands-only CPRas well as how to apply and use an AED.
• "BEFASTT" - Do you know the signs of stroke? Learn what BEFASTT means, which teaches you how to identify stroke and what to do next. This is for ages junior high and above.
• "Strike Out Stroke" - Come and learn about stroke awareness. Each year, Hillcrest attends Strike Out Stroke night at the Tulsa Drillers game. Hillcrest will be at ONEOK Field before and during the game with educational materials.
